Flight dispatcher (also known as an airline dispatcher, flight follower or flight operations officer) assists in planning flight paths, taking into account aircraft performance and loading, enroute winds, thunderstorm and turbulence forecasts, airspace restrictions, and airport conditions. Dispatchers also provide a flight following service and advise pilots if conditions change. They usually work in the operations center of the airline.
Students in this department will:
- learn the basics of flight operations
- Have Latest knowledge and current technological changes in the aviation industry.
- Know how to function as a Flight Dispatcher within an airline environment in conformance with all NCAA rules and regulations as it relates to flight operations.
- Know how to develop strategies, manage and minimize all threats and their consequences to flight operations.
- Know how to address challenges of human-machine interface and associated activities to improve safety systems.
- Know how to improve airline performance while keeping cost at its minimum.

B.SC., B.A, HND, OND, SSCE, GCE, NECO, etc.
Students who are awaiting their results can also apply.
